Who does the event support?
As the Foundation's largest annaul fundraising event, SipSwirl&Savor supports the students and programs of Community Colleges of Spokane. Proceeds from the event have helped us provide scholarships, emergency aid, and program support in the past. Last year, the Foundation gave over $109,000 in emergency aid, $335,000 in scholarship awards, and $659,000 to programs thanks to our generous donors, including SipSwirl&Savor guests like you!
Our Make an Impact paddle raise, available on the auction site, goes directly to student emergency support. Donate today and make a positive impact on our students' lives!
Why can't I see the donation options when I visit the paddle raise page?
Only guests signed in the bid can see the donation options for the Make an Impact paddle raise. Just click the "Start Bidding" button at the top of the page to sign in!
Why can't I place a bid yet?
Bidding opens at 9:00 am sharp for all but the deluxe packages, and 6:00 pm sharp for the deluxe Live Auction packages. If you pre-register by clicking the "Start Bidding" button, you can favorite the packages you're most interested in and be ready to bid first-thing Saturday monring!
Why are some of the packages I favorited/viewed different now?
After working with the Washington State Liquor Control Board, we learned that several of our packages had items we could no longer auction. These packages have been udpated accordingly. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us! email@example.com
How do I pre-register?
Simply click on the "Start Bidding" button at the top of the auction site. You'll fill out your bidder information and be all set to save your favorite packages and bid first-thing on April 25.
Why should I pre-register?
By pre-registering, you'll get a better chance at being the first to bid on your favorite packages! Pre-registered guests only have to enter their username and password when the auction opens.
Can I save my favorite packages before April 25?
Yes! If you have pre-registered and are logged in as a bidder, you can click the star on each package to favorite it. To access your favorites, go to the menu (top left of your screen) and click favorites.
Why are some 100-level packages locked for bidding?
The 100-level items are deluxe packages, and will open for our Live Auction from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on April 25.
Can I edit my Bidding Account?
Yes, you can! Click Start Bidding at the top of the auction site and log in with your email and password. You will then see your account information, which can be edited.
How does the Live Auction work?
The Live Auction has are deluxe packages! It works exactly like the rest of the auction, but is only open from 6:00 - 9:00 pm.
Why do some packages have set prices?
The packages with a set prices (Like the Iconic Dinner with Adam Hegsted and Hand-crafted Mother's Day Basket) have multiple opportunities to buy. The amount available is listed in each description under "Quantity Available."
How will I find out if I've been outbid?
You will get a text telling you you have been outbid, as long as you entered a mobile number when you registered. You can also see, if you are logged in, if you are currently the winning bid on a package.
When will I find out if I won the package?
Our team will be sending out text message and emails to the winners after the end of each close (6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. respectively).
I can't get the auction site to load in my internet browser. What should I do?
Our auction site doesn't load properly in Internet Explorer. Try to open the same link with a different internet browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
