Each year, the Saling Awards for Excellence honors outstanding staff members at the Community Colleges of Spokane.  Professional-Exempt employees and mid-level administrators (under the Vice President level) are eligible for nomination.  Any faculty, administrator, professional-exempt staff member, classified staff member, Trustee, or Foundation Board Member can submit a nomination.

Established in 2006 by Dr. Gerald Saling, former Spokane Falls Community College President and a former state legislator, awardees are judged on criteria including representing the colleges well, displaying commitment to our students, and demonstrating concern for the CCS community. Currently, three exceptional staff members are recognized each year.

Saling Award nominations will be open from
January 7, 2019 until February 22, 2019
