Hopes, Dreams, and Potential Made Possible
The CCS Foundation’s mission is simple, but student-centered: we make potential possible. It’s a powerful message about our legacy and our promise, and it speaks to our donors and students.
Last April, the Foundation staff and Board sat down with members of our audience to talk about the potential of our organization and what would be possible for us in the future.
The Hopes and Dreams meeting, held April 15, 2021 at the Spokane Convention Center, brought together CCS staff, Board of Trustee members, donors, alumni, students, and more. Guests reviewed the findings from our SWOT analysis, or our strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Then guests were asked, in groups, to talk about the future of the Foundation. What would stay the same when we imagined 5, 10, 15 years from now? What would change? What would be new to our work? What would stay essential?
The answers from this meeting helped the Foundation Board of Directors to determine our next goal. A big, harry, audacious goal actually, or B.H.A.G.
By 2025, we will transform 7,500 student lives every year!
The Board also used the conversations from our Hopes and Dreams meeting to outline a three-year Strategic Plan. Staff and Board members are already working on six key objectives for the first year’s plan.
We want to sincerely thank every guest of our Hopes and Dreams meeting. You are a part of 50 years of making potential possible, and you are helping to create the next 50 years of student support!
