Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation is Enhancing Its Commitment to Digital Accessibility
On April 24, 2024, the Department of Justice (DOJ) published a new rule on digital accessibility under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This rule requires all public colleges’ content, including academic course content, to meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards by April 24, 2026.

Accessibility is our Shared Responsibility
The scope of this work includes academic courses and all services and programs we deliver to students, faculty, staff, and the public. Complying with the new rule will require collaboration and partnership to ensure websites, documents, digital tools, and all other digital content are readily usable by all.
