In July, the CCS Foundation Board of Directors welcomed two new members and a new slate of executive officers.

Dan Evans, Senior Vice President with Bank of America, joins the Community Colleges of Spokane Foundation Board of Directors for his first term. Evans will serve as Treasurer for the Foundation Board, as well as Chair of the Finance Commitee.

Chase Soehren, Commercial Property Manager for Kiemle Hagood, joins the Foundation Board of Directors for his first term, as well. Soehren will also serve as Chair of the Facilities Committee.

The Board of Directors new set of Executive Officers includes Kathy Pearson, Senior Vice President with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, as Board President. Kathy has served on the CCS Foundation Board since 2019.

Jacob Parks, President of Profitable Ideas Exchange, serves as Foundation Board Vice President and Chair of the Board Relations Comittee. He is joined by Jim Allen (Community Member) as Secretary (re-elected) and Dan Evans as Treasurer. Matt Allore, Executive Director, Human Potential with MultiCare, will serve as Chair of the Advancement Committee (re-elected). 

Our Foundation Board of Directors share similar backgrounds and stories with our students. Many are alums of SCC and SFCC or other community colleges. Some were the first in their family to attend college. Several of them are the local employers that hire our students. And 100% of them support our students as donors as well as volunteer leaders.
