Nathaniel is the Vice President of Branches at Gesa Credit Union and has been a CCS Foundation Board Member for three years.

Why do you choose to donate to the Foundation?

I support the Foundation because I want to make a different with people who want to make a difference. So many wonderful donors have already setup amazing scholarships and grants, so that is why I choose to give a reoccurring, unrestricted gift to the Foundation itself. It takes top talent, modern technology, and great resources to "Make potential possible". For me, the Foundation is run by heros who are making a difference in the lives, communities, and families of students both now and for generations to come. I can think of few causes nobler and I never want MY heros to worry about having the resources to do their job right.

 

Fun Facts:

1. What is something people don’t know about you? Hobby?

Since I was young, I have enjoyed doing archery with my father and going to 3D target shoots in the Northwest. This is a special time we share as often as we can, and in April went to one outside Moses Lake (picture attached. Left to right: Linda, Nathaniel, and Mike Prior)

2. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

Hoping to go to New Zealand in two years!

3. If you could meet any fictional character, who would you like to meet?

Mal (Malcom Reynolds) from Firefly.

4. What is one hobby you’ve always wanted to try?

Stained glass making.
