Executive Director
Heather Beebe-Stevens earned an MBA and a certificate of Nonprofit Management from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and a BA in International Studies from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Inland Northwest Planned Giving Council.

Geneva Ayers graduated locally from Mead Senior High School and then went on to receive her Medical Transcript Certificate from SCC. She has been with the CCS Foundation for 15 years.

Office Manager

Sherry Curran is a certified Administrative Assistant at the CCS Foundation with over 20 years’ experience supporting executive offices in education, tribal administration and municipal government. Specializing in office management, Sherry uses that experience to support the amazing team at the Foundation and enhance student success.

Scholarship and Alumni Relations Manager

Christine DeGeare graduated from Spokane Community College in 2017. She has worked at CCS since 2017, first in the Payroll office, then as the Foundation Adminstrative Assistant until 2021. She has been the Scholarship and Alumni Relations Manager since 2021.

Foundation Accounting Manager

Jean McNeilly earned her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Eastern Washington University. She has worked for CCS for over 21 years and has been the Foundation Accounting Manager for the last twelve.

Development Coordinator

Katelyn Rushing has her BA in Communication Studies from Eastern Washington University. She has worked for the American Cancer Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Eastern Washington University before joining the Foundation in 2021 as the Development Coordinator.

Oryx Vens earned their Certificate of Fine Arts​ from SFCC and BS in Psychology from Washington State University. They have worked at the CCS Foundation since 2021 as the Donor Services Assistant.

Grants and Communications Manager

Leah Welki (formerly Butterwick) graduated with her B.A. in English-Writing from Marist College and her MFA In Creative Writing-Fiction from Eastern Washington University. She has worked in higher education and with nonprofits in Spokane for eight years and has spent the last five with the CCS Foundation.
