Apply for Scholarships
A scholarship from the CCS Foundation can help reduce the cost of your education. Every year, the Foundation provides over 300 major scholarships for tuition and books, as well as hundreds of smaller awards to help with testing costs, program fees and emergency needs.
General scholarship applications are now closed.
How to Apply
The first step to apply for scholarships with the CCS Foundation is to complete our general scholarship application at AcademicWorks. The general scholarship application has a new timeline, and will be open from October 15, 2018 – January 11, 2019. Late applications will only be considered if no eligible student can be identified from the initial applicant pool or new sources of funding come available.
Once completed, you’ll be entered in our general scholarship pool to be considered for those scholarships open to all CCS students. You’ll also be alerted to additional scholarship opportunities which you may qualify for based on the responses you provided. Many of these opportunities require additional information, but have fewer applicants because they have very specific criteria. We encourage you to take the time to apply for all scholarships for which you qualify to increase your chances of receiving an award.
We also suggest that you sign up for our scholarship newsletter (below), which will alert you when new scholarships become available. Our primary scholarship application period runs from early January until mid-March, but a handful of additional scholarships accept applications throughout the year. If you’re considering enrolling at one of our campuses (Spokane Falls Community College, Spokane Community College, Fairchild AFB Education Center, the Pullman Campus or any of our Rural Centers in Colville, Inchelium, Ione, Newport and Republic), be sure to submit your application to ensure you’re considered for available scholarship opportunities.
