Scholarships

Each January, our scholarship application opens for our 100+ scholarship opportunities. We also open a select number of scholarships again in August.  All CCS students, including international students, are able to apply. 
 

Scholarships for the 2024-2025 academic year will be open from August 15-September 5!

You can apply to several scholarship opportunities at once using our General Application. This application can also auto-match students to other scholarship opportunities. Many of those opportunities require additional information, and we encourage you to apply for every scholarship you’re eligible for to increase your chances of an award!  Students who apply in January can be notified they are receiving a scholarship for the following academic year as early as May. Students who apply in August can be notified they are receiving a scholarship to be disbursed immediately as early as September. 

Please note: you must be an admitted student to apply. 

Sign in directions: The email will be your first name, followed by the first initial of your last name, followed by the last four digits of your Student ID, followed by @bigfoot.spokane.edu. (Ie: johnr1234@bigfoot.spokane.edu). Your default password was emailed to your personal email address on file. If you need password assistance, please contact the IT Customer Support Center at 509-533-4357, option 2. 

EMERGENCY AID

Emergency aid is available to students who have experienced an unforeseen financial hardship, such as a sudden illness, loss of wages, natural disaster, major accident, pending eviction, death of immediate family member, or the effects of COVID-19. Some applications also help you pay for childcare, buy textbooks, or even purchase a bus pass.

The emergency aid application will open the week prior to the start of each quarter and close the week before finals. By submitting our Emergency Aid application, you’re applying to several funding opportunities at once. Applications are reviewed in a timely manner.  Funds will be disbursed through the Financial Aid office on their scheduled distribution dates. Important Information:

• $1,000 max award per year

• All awards are processed by financial aid

• No back balances will be paid

Requirements to Apply:

• You must fill out the Budget Form in the application

• You must be a current student

• You must have completed at least one quarter

• You must be in good academic standing
